
I did think my commitment to using only plant and garden related pictures for Becky at the Life of B‘s JanuaryLights# square photo challenge might prove difficult, but in fact I should have been more confident – there’s a plethora of choice!
Today I’ve selected eryngium ‘Miss Wilmott’s Ghost’ in a photo taken last September at Trentham Gardens. With it’s star-like leaves and flowers and bright silver colouring, starlight describes it perfectly! (Trentham is a must visit garden on an estate in North Staffordshire – thoroughly recommended!)
What gorgeous starlight, as you say very different to mine today!

Lovely shot. You can see where the ghost name comes from – it’s almost like the plant is made of bones.
