A highlight of our visit to Kent & East Sussex deserves a few words and pictures – I’m referring to Rye’s natural landscape. We both really loved it. A walk along the nature reserve down to the coast was delightful – the landscape an inspiration for a super garden, surely!
The building to the left is a ‘hide’. I’ve never watched (or twitched) birds from a hide, this was so peaceful and there were so many birds I had never seen before – so enjoyable (but no lens good enough to get pictures) – I could have stayed in there all day.
There were so many plants growing naturally – a natural gravel garden, so lovely. Anyway, the pictures speak for themselves:
