What a week! Rain, rain and more rain. I’d planned to do bulb planting this weekend (after clearing the remains of annuals that are decidedly lacking in appeal now, not a job I relish), but this pleasurable task will have to wait, don’t want to risk them rotting in the ground. Scott garden isn’t too bad, but we’re in Wales, where the garden is a quagmire. So my plans to sneakily plant some bulbs to naturalise in the expanse of grass I’d like to turn into a mini meadow while Chris is out fishing are now foiled. Still, there’s plenty to do, not raining right now, there’s glimmer of sunshine, so time to boot up and get outside!
